Call for Submissions: Stellar Chronicle 6th Issue

The Stellar Chronicle, the biannual e-magazine of UL Space Club — a registered Space Tutor of ISRO — invites contributions for its 6th issue. This magazine is a platform for students, professionals, and enthusiasts to showcase their insights, research, and creativity in the realm of space science and technology.

If you are passionate about space exploration, innovation, and its real-world applications, this is your opportunity to contribute to the growing legacy of Stellar Chronicle.

 


General Guidelines

  1. Eligibility: Open to students, researchers, professionals, and space enthusiasts.
  2. Type of Submissions:
    • Articles, essays, or technical write-ups.
    • Creative pieces such as poems, artwork, or short stories on space themes.
    • Research papers or innovative project ideas.
  3. Theme Alignment: Submissions should be relevant to space science, technology, exploration, or its interdisciplinary applications.
  4. Number of Submissions: Each contributor can submit up to two works.

 

Specific Submission Guidelines

1. Language

Submissions can be made in Malayalam or English.

2. Content Relevance

All contributions must align with the themes and objectives of Stellar Chronicle. Ensure your work resonates with the mission to advance knowledge in space science and technology.

3. Originality

  • Submissions must be original and free from plagiarism.
  • Properly acknowledge and cite any referenced sources.

4. Word Count

  • Articles should ideally range between 500 and 1000 words.
  • Exceptional works outside this range may also be considered.

5. Structure and Clarity

  • Ensure your article has a clear structure with a compelling introduction, well-developed body, and logical conclusion.
  • Express ideas effectively to engage and inform readers.

6. Formatting Guidelines

  • Submit the article in Word or Document format.
  • Use Arial font, size 12pt, with single-line spacing.
  • Headings: Bold, 20pt font.
  • Subheadings: Bold, 16pt font.
  • Text alignment: Left-aligned.
  • Include the following at the end of your article:
    • Full Name
    • Email Address
    • A brief bio (50-70 words)

7. File Size

  • The maximum file size for submissions is 15 MB.
  • Compress images to meet the size limit without compromising quality.

8. Images

  • Use high-quality, relevant images that complement the content.
  • Position images strategically near related text.
  • Include clear captions and provide proper credits where required.

9. Submission Process

  • Deadline: All works must be submitted by 10 January 2025.
