i-STEMS 2023 Ideathon & Induction Program
UL Space Club presents, the "i-STEMS Ideathon & Induction Program" to induct students with innovative ideas in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics & Space to the nurturing environment of UL Space Club. The program will be conducted from January - May 2023. The last time for submission is 18 February. i-STEM is ideation based on Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, and Space. This program is aiming to induct curious minds into the nurturing environment of UL Space Club. Best ideas will be selected based on their
● Innovation
● Relevance
● Presentation
● Aptitude of the Student
Selected students will be inducted into UL Space Club.
Students who are doing HS & HSS and UG can attend this program. The ideation is categorized into 2 levels - Junior: HS & HSS Students, Senior: UG Students
Important Dates.
- List of selected students: 14 January 2023
- Training for Students: April 2023 -Two training sessions will be conducted for students on idea development and presentation.
- Abstract of idea: 16 April 2023 -Selected students should submit an abstract of their idea in pdf format (1 Page, 5MB Maximum) on or before this date. Those who fail to submit within the time will be disqualified.
- PPT Online Submission: 5 May 2023 -A PPT file on their proposed idea should be submitted by students on or before this date. Student panel members of UL Space Club will evaluate this and they will select a few of them.
Interview: 11 May 2023
Those students, whose presentations have been selected, will be contacted and interviewed by student panel on this date. The student panel will induct the best students among this to UL Space Club. All of them will be able to attend our future programs as our student members.
Offline Event: 23 May 2023
An offline event will be conducted to showcase the best 10-15 presentations among the submissions. Students will present their idea and our expert mentors will comment on them. They will get guidance to develop their ideas.
